So I &nbsp;have been saying for literally years I would make myself new garb. Yep finally new pretties and I actually want them to be pretty for once! I feel I SHOULD be confident enough in my sewing skills to go on to bigger/tougher and possibly more expensive projects. >.< As is all I have is my fencing effective and overly worn out dulled skirts and poofy pants. And dieing waist cinches... and worn out shirts... you getting the picture? Heehee So anyhow I plan to make some dresses and some more court appropriate mayhaps clothes. Not saying I will never wear the easily comfortable garb again, just that I want to be able to dress 'proper.'

Sewing FAIL! (aka disaster) Well renfaire was this weekend. I'll do a happy rant about that and playing Stretch with Peter Pixie later... but on a mournful note for me. I had finished making three, what I would concider beautiful kimonos. Two of which were out of that dreadful kind of fabric that frays when you simply look at it, let alone cut. But I managed to sew them and was very proud. I wore all three to faire saturday (I know jap isn't very renaissancey). You see I used to only wash my garb by hand, all of it. And slowly I digressed into machine washing after everyone said just put it on delicate! Well I did that. And it's always work
